I couldn't agree more, like I wish we got to see more of what we saw in EP 91 even more and not so little of it, but I guess it's being saved for something big in the future for a manga canon arc!

Yep, this is something that I love about this show, all the characters received development, and you can clearly tell the big difference from first 10 episodes till now, Mitsuki just happens to have the best development because he’s was created in lab lmao.

Yeah I mean Sasuke has spoken to me in many ways relatabley, I've enjoyed em since he was first introduced in naruto. He's a complex and broken character for most of the series and finally finds himself and redemption in the end.

Same, he got me hooked into OG Naruto, I was never a Naruto person, I like a bit more realism in personality, not to sound weird, I like him cause of everything but Sasuke is still my favorite character

I think Sasuke is dead in the first episode, I assume Boruto is going to be trained by him, he dies and gives him everything (Cape, sword, headband...) leading to that visual from first episode.

Mitsuki’s development is the best one! Oh and also, it’s not “only anime canon”, what happens in the anime universe, happens in the manga universe, they just don’t show it because it’s monthly released. They’re 100% connected.

Naruto being the Hokage who saved the world, in the most Non-Orochimaru way, and Boruto being his son making him the most idealistic sun

Mi-tsuki means "Snake Vessel" which in EP 39 was told, but Mitsuki also means "Full Moon" which Mitsuki stared at, at the end of episode 39 too, just different people wordplaying the boy Mitsuki lol

The reason Boruto is called "The Sun" is because Mitsuki is "The Moon". The Moon doesn't emit any light on its own, it simply reflects the sunlight and that is how we see it. Orochimaru wants Boruto to help Mitsuki develop human emotions and other features humans have that Mitsuki doesn't, that's why he put Boruto's picture and information in the scroll.
