You should consider getting into the manga after you finish the anime. With the long hiatus, I doubt they'll ever continue the series.

2020-08-08 07:45:35 +0000 UTCI assume you meant gory, and yes that is when they kinda stoped censoring the blood and gore in the 2011 adaptation since it wouldn't fit the tone of the arc to not have gore, as for the manga, it was gory since the begining.
