I've seen the Ukyō Kodachi Boruto manuscripts and ACTUALLY 79.31% of the anime isn't canon. Kishimoto said Naruto was complete so technically ALL of Boruto is filler. Intellectual Heavyweight Juggernaut Galaxy Brain.

And even tho this is all fun to watch it is technically filler because the manga starts when they're genin kinda like naruto did. But because the anime ans manga started around the same time the anime did the academy stuff to give the manga room to pace out.
