Maybe you could add a piece of your own rebar or thin long metal as a 'probe' to help you find the underwater culverts! Just jam it straight down until it stops. Might break a hole in a plastic culvert but hey, aren't those things supposed to last 70 years? ;) Thanks for posting, have a great night.
