The community understands you're human and I'm sure many will agree you can put too much pressure on yourself. You're doing a fantastic job of maintaining a community, it's important for you to find a good balance so that you can continue to do the things you love. I hope this time will help you reset and we'll be here when you get back. Hope the trip goes well. xoxo

2025-03-07 16:09:04 +0000 UTCThank you! I really appreciate this! Honestly, I've experienced that as well. I have really bad days and i drag myself to the gym anyway even though I think I can't do much and it will be a shitty workout, and things somehow go surprisingly well around 80% of the time!!! And i would even feel a lot better after. It does help that i have a coach who cheers me on and pushes me π Thank you for sharing your experience! I really enjoy weightlifting. I struggled to do even 3-5reps of assisted pull-ups a month ago, but now, I can do 8 reps of the same workout and maintain form. It's small progress but it's progress!!

2025-03-07 11:12:14 +0000 UTCAs someone who has done weight /powerlifting for +23 years my advice is: Try to keep your training consistent even when you might have a bad day or your brain doesn't feel like it cos your mind might be lying to you. I've gone to the gym after a bad day or completely unmotivated and had one of the best workouts, breaking PR, been able to do more reps and going heavier and the opposite has also happened to me as well, that I was motivated but my workout turned out to be not so great that time. I guess what I'm trying to say is that what you feel is not always direct correlation on how your workout is going to be, just cos you might feel like shit does not mean that your workout will be. Just try enjoy it for yourself and results will come, when I started I couldn't do 5 push ups and now I can do one hand push ups. You got this locked down kid.

2025-03-07 06:19:22 +0000 UTCfirst off, I wish you a nice trip to Hong Kong. Also Thank you for all that you do and make for us, all of it is appreciated so much. I am not the person to comment about a healthy lifestyle and concerns over physical appearances, I view myself as a 1 out of 10 that's all I'll say on that point on my end haha, so I do feel the frustrations and wish you the best on such endeavors. Last thing, what you did there at the very end, I needed that apparently, I felt so good at the end bit there. So for that moment of joy, I thank you sincerely.

2025-03-07 05:44:39 +0000 UTCThank you so much for your kind reply! Since I started working out, I havent seen drastic results in my outer appearance so sometimes I feel discouraged. I know the outer appearance isn't the main goal, but it would be nice. I try to remind myself that it's about being healthy and feeling better about myself! It has affected me positively both mentally and physically. I feel a lot stronger and more physically capable. I also see a lot of progress in the weights that I lift! Thank you again for all your support and I will be back after one week!

2025-03-07 05:01:12 +0000 UTCHey husher, first thank you for sharing your feelings and keeping everyone updated. Please don't feel like you owe anyone anything. I'm sorry you're having body dysmorphia. Unfortunately it comes with the process of fitness especially weight lifting. Don't be too harsh on yourself. I can tell just from your personality that you're genuinely a cutie and kind person. Please know that as much as you compare yourself to others even if you don't know it someone is comparing themselves to you. I hope you have a great trip to Hong Kong. It seems like your getting a bit of imposter syndrome which is the content creator curse unfortunately. Please take as much time as you need for yourself to recover mentally and physically if you feel burnt out. Again thank you for what you do.
