Weekly update: No 2

Hello again!

So time for me to be accountable. What have I been up to?

Well I've done all the bug fixes for Chapter One. Dull, but important and I'm going to re-release that close to the weekend largely to see if I can attract a bit more traffic for the game at that point. I'm in the odd position of it seemingly being that those who have played it, like the game - but the problem is getting people to play it in the first place. Not that it matters hugely - I just find it confusing more than anything!

The only issue I haven't addressed on the bug fix was with regards to the suggestions for improving the end results screen. Someone had the cracking idea of showing results by paths - which I like, but is proving more complicated than I first thought. Largely as we're not talking about just a few paths here. For example you could go down, say, Sarah path A and Trish path B or Sarah path B and Trish path A. Tying that all together for a results system that shows the content you missed on the paths you have chosen is harder than it sounds. Given I'm being very strict on the time I allow myself each week for promotion and fixes so as not to derail the next chapter, I'm parking that element of the fix for now and I'll see if I can address it for Chapter Two.

So what else?

Asset design and script writing mainly. The latter I've hit all marks and I'll be polling $15 patreons on some of the Chris content later today as I got a bit carried away....With my current processing speed although I could write it all - there was no way I could render it all in time. 

On asset design, I've been finalising some of the character designs and testing them in various environments. Ensuring that the models work correctly no matter what I want to them to do (and trust me they haven't been too thrilled with some of the things I've been making them do!) is hugely important and prevents problems down the line. This wasn't in respect to the three girls you've already met but more on the newer characters where they looked good...but did they work? I'm happy to say they do :)

I've also been working hard on the interior design (see above!). My budget currently restricts me to using older models for interiors and they often require a lot of work to re-skin for I-ray and to modify so that they fit my world. But I've slogged through and got some fairly decent results in the end.

I was just going to drop a load of attachments for you to see but I thought you deserved something slightly better than that. So over to the head of the Ophion project herself....


Sadly, of course, with the science team finding the Ophions and the discovery of Phoebe this particular publication never got released. Not that Amanda is bitter about it of course....

Thank you. You'll be pleased to know that some of the girls do indeed have more than route. Sarah is the obvious example of course. But even dear Chris has more than one route - although we are talking "boss level" gaming to get to the second route. And as to the other girls, well..I don't want to say too much, but other paths do exist. As to the reputation system it is already in :) If you have a look at the character information sheets as you play you'll see that the views of the girls change in respect to three key elements. Their respect for you as an officer; how much they like you and how much they are attracted to you. But, no. No quick bangs. In this game - you get what you earn :)

Hi, I think players and me personally would like it more if there dominant and submission route for each character so players can enjoy all the characters to their preference. Or have a reputation system that will determine how the characters will react to you. Honestly I am looking for to the femdom contents, if you try to please everyone you might end up pleasing no one but if you want to reach a wider audience, focus on the personality of the characters in each route they take. You can develop each character one at a time this way. Tying them together with player choices will make things very complicated it's going to make a spider web of routes. I agree with frosty that too many game have too many quick bangs like tower of trample, all these quick bangs scene ruins the feel and makes the characters seem cheap. The MC should earn the privilege.

Somehow managed to miss that Kelly picture. I am usually not into blonde women, but wow those legs. Also nice shoes and feet, gets my hopes up that foot worship will also happen somewhere down the line. Would be a waste to leave that out. :P

Thanks! Well it seemed more fun than just "here are some screen shots of a room" y'know? I might make it into a download on the PDA actually for Chapter Two like Bored Pilot was. And thanks 're Kelly. She scrubbed up really well once we got her out of her uniform :)

This pamphlet reminds me of some propaganda stuff you would read in some old science fiction. Like the mars trilogy from Kim Stanley Robinson or something like that. Kelly looks good as well. Very classy.

Reminds me a bit of an advertisement for one of the vaults in Fallout. Also with doctor probably doing some secret scientifical experiments with the people? Concerning gaining more traffic for your game, I think since you (imho thankfully) develop your characters and story way more realistic and natural than others, you at first miss a bit out on the people just in for the raw porn. Just be patient and keep on doing what you are doing and that problem will surely solve itself. If not I guess I will have to raise my patreon pledge to you step by step. ;)
