The instructor was played by John Houseman, a British immigrant well-known for his way of speaking. OJ's murder trial was 1995. The jury ignored DNA evidence and he got off. The victim's families later sued him and won, but he later found a loophole on paying most of it by putting his money and assets in a trust. Years later he served nine years in a Nevada prison after being convicted in 2008 on 12 counts of armed robbery and kidnapping two sports memorabilia dealers at gunpoint in a Las Vegas hotel. He died in 2024.
