Hello everyone!
Yesterday I spent the whole day working on making my 3d printer to work again. I printed many calibration tests, watched many youtube videos and cleaned my VAT a lot of times.
I printed the Cones of Calibration from Table flip Foundry, I had all failure in the failure side and all failure on my good side... meaning my exposure time was indeed way too low.
So I printed a lot more cones of Calibration, then I realized that they take too long 1 hour and half each, so I changed my tactics, I printed the validation Matrix until I got near a point and then I would print the Cone to fine-tune the result.
I started at 3sec and finished at 4.3 seconds per layer for a 0.03mm, that's way too much time.
With this printed it was time to print the miniatures (again). After cleaning today I discovered the mess it was...
Dead pixel, probably not, why I think this? I printed a Validation Matrix and had no failures or holes. The model has no passing through hole.
Model Failure, probably not, why? The base was printed correctly before but now it presented holes and failures.
Resin, I made the same print with other resin and got failures, but just for the sake of testing I will run the same files with another resin in the same position. I expect them to fail.
Doing all these tests and I still can't find the answer. What I do know or I'm starting to think is that pixels start to fail at a certain height.
Best regards,
Ivo
