Weekly Developer Log #8: Ship Builder Kickstarter

Hello everyone!

It's a weekly developer log but I missed last week's post, I could have used a bit more energy but the truth is, I was in doubt whether or not to continue with my current build. After a bit more thinking I decided not to continue, it was getting plain and boring.

Before we dive into this week Developer log, if you missed last post check the link: Weekly Developer Log #7: Ship Builder Kickstarter | Patreon

Changes in the project

1) I stretched out the midsection of the ship to give it a bit more volume, by doing this, I had to readjust all the top and bottom sections of the ship's hull, It will still be possible to add Height and Length to the ship

I won't be making many tips for the ship anymore, Instead of making different curves and etc I will cut my current TIP, reducing a tile at a time. this will ensure that I don't have to rework too much and also can create the variations that I need.  Adjustments will be made in the future if needed. With this, I can also give the TIP a bit more interesting curve.

Working next

I'm working on the back of the ship. I think next week I will have a full layout ready to show. For the side platforms, I will make some adjustments so that people can print it or not.

That's it for this week's update

My total time invested in this project: is 26 hours

Best regards,

Ivo

Well, setbacks are expected in difficult projects like these. And as I told you multiple times, you really do need to work on other social medias to attract new people, just stay focused and take your time!

Yeah you are absolutely right, After I'm done with the structure I will start making these posts

Tiny bit of feedback/suggestion from me. I'd strongly consider posting things like this, or at least condensed versions, to social media too - one of the things that really helps Kickstarters is building up a little bit of interest and hype ahead of it. Even if we are months away from it becoming a reality, slowly gathering some additional followers interested in the project could never hurt
