$1 Tier Update: To be removed due to theft
Added 2023-07-16 12:55:13 +0000 UTCI'm removing the $1 Humble tier on the 31st of July due to relentless theft I have dealt with for many months.
As an independent artist, I rely heavily on the generous support of my supporters to keep my work going. However, it's frustrating to see my hard work being stolen and distributed for free, especially when I'm now working on a big project I'm really proud of with the help and collaboration of another wonderful and supportive person. I have tried different methods to prevent thefts of my work, but nothing seems to be working. Even when trying to accept the thefts, believing that if people like my art they will support me regardless, it's just not the reality of the situation. I can't keep kidding myself and must make a difficult choice.
While I would love to continue being generous and offering my work at a very low price, the reality is that I cannot keep losing money to those who are unwilling to appreciate my hard work and support me in return.
In conjunction with the removal of the $1 Humble tier, most of my work will now be posted exclusively to the Magpie Next Patreon discord with some exceptions such as polls, monthly suggestions, ect.
While removing the $1 tier may be difficult for some, it's ultimately necessary to protect my work and ensure I can continue creating and providing quality content for you all.
