From the accident, caused him to enter a primitive Saiyan state; more of a violent and aggressive feral animal. From this he became uncontrollable, only calming down when he's in the face of fellow warriors or those he recognizes as strong. But ChiChi was neither a Saiyan and was weaker than him, so Gohan didn't recognize her as his mother, but a tool to relief himself on... Currently Scene: Soon after the accident, ChiChi and Goku quickly went to the hospital to get help. Thankfully due to his saiyan genetics Gohan survived and managed to recover.
