From the accident, caused him to enter a primitive Saiyan state; more of a violent and aggressive feral animal. From this he became uncontrollable, only calming down when he's in the face of fellow warriors or those he recognizes as strong. But ChiChi was neither a Saiyan and was weaker than him, so Gohan didn't recognize her as his mother, but a tool to relief himself on... Currently Scene: One day Goku asks if he could take Gohan to train, but ChiChi objects and bribes him with extra dinner if he just leaves without question. As she does, she starts reminiscing on how she got into her current "predicament" with her son...
