Kids do say the darndest thingsβ¦ I was told that as a toddler, when learning my colors, I developed a habit of pointing at things- including peopleβs skin color- and shouting my findings aloudβ¦ Iβd point at strangers and proudly announce either βpeachβ or βbrownβ, and my mom would be mortified, apologizing to my victims and explaining to me that was not a nice thing to do but, bless my heart, I had no idea whyβ¦ itβs no wonder I wound up in therapy by preschoolβ¦ π€¦πΌββοΈ
