2026-02-27 17:32:31 +0000 UTCBens treating the system like breakthroughs are tied to random consolidations and mutations brought about via a game system, not the maleability of his soul growing in such direction. by that i mean if he's desiring connect to breakthrough and consolidate with enchanting his breakthrough attempts should be via that method. His prior attemps at breaking through i think failed because they did not engage enchanting in the process and were rejected by his firm desire to only merge the two. I'd want to see him make attempts at the mystic tier, perhaps a mindscape. Following that line of thought i was thinking an artistic sanctuary, but then realized he could make pseudo VR games, then training simulators. At that point perhaps Myriads Trials could be born? could give people years of training and combat experience in minutes with no risk of death. he's alreaddy recreated arcades, time to create fulldive VR :D

2026-02-27 17:27:48 +0000 UTCYou know, Ben is creating an awful lot of items using souls. Do you think that, given enough time, the stuff he's made will gain sentience? For example, imagine Ben makes a toaster using a soul. Give it 100 years, that toaster gains sentience, and as consequence gains access to the system. Give it another 100 years, that toaster now has a T3 toast making skill, becoming the God of Toast. (As a side note, it also becomes a devout follower of Ben, giving him all its faith)

A book that can download knowledge/experience into the users subconscious to reemerge as inspiration/insights, but in exchange it adds the users knowledge and experience to its own database, growing over time. Basically what Ben can do (minus the Authorities) but in item form. He's already got that tome that does much the same thing to use as a model.
