But generally i believe that unless his soul literally explodes, a soul mage with 1.61 million mana should be able to fix his soul even if its in dire states. And if he awakens his soul skills, his mana will see another big growth. I mean, even the t1 skill gave him 10% of his current mana per level. The t2 version will give at least that too. So Ben will become an embodiment of mana too. And, something i personally like even more, King of mana regeneration. I think he would be the first to get that job, as even mana related species don't have such a high regeneration.

However they have the trees which likely can't be moved. wouldn't it be easier and simpler for ben and thera to live in the dryads village though? 2 3rd tiers is basically as safe as any place can be. And ben and thera with their near unlimited cosmic power could move around/get to stonewall to protect it easily if they moved. You could argue the space demon knows where the village is and that's the main danger but it could just as easily know about stonewall now that it's seen the gate the dryads used to get there. I like thinking Mora's presence somehow kept bens soul there long enough for Thera to intervene. Great arc so far! also my thoughts aren't a critique of the writing at all. Characters not making the most rational choice is not bad it's human to make weird emotional choices and get tongue tied when confronted with a difficult situation.

Also, Thera would NOT be happy if Ben wanted to try out new unethical spells just after almost dying. She awakened to T3 our of sheer necessity and desperation, not out of fun and curiosity like Ben has done.

2026-01-25 17:28:27 +0000 UTCThera reaching 3rd tier will likely be pivotal in the war... she is likely already a far more powerful soul mage than the other 2, which means she can loosen the 3rd tier barrier easier, as well as give more benefits for reaching it. It would of course help Ben a lot, but more than that it would help all other contenders. Even if she quality of soul magic she can do isn't greater than the other soul mages, she sheer mana output she has...

He feels they are a waste of his time...He can get them in probably an hour with all his growth factors. Instead he'll spend days making new cities and repairing old ones, or other strange tasks.

Meanwhile Stonewalls Adventure Guild Master is sipping tea with the City Mayor: *RUMBLE* => "WTF did >HE< do this time?" => Both get a level of stress resistance.

2026-01-25 17:11:10 +0000 UTCI think the trees are the main problem with moving them to a town. I'd imagine such large important trees would have complex root systems so can be just placed side by side. So defending a grove of them I'd imagine isn't easy.
