Do People Still Go On the Internet?

What nuked the Bridge 9 Board? Are we about to see more barriers at shows? Remember Rivalry Records? And more! We put ourselves to the crucible that is listener questions.

iirc the b9 board took off more after they moved up to Salem circa late 2003 or 04, although maybe it existed around then. but i think was a post xmulletx thing w lots of revboard, howsyouredge, vlv, bco crossover, and then MySpace prob took it to Canseco level shenanigans I had no part in but sounds like I pay 5 quid to some former B9 troll or something but it's all good

I was wondering the same thing about Bridge 9 / B9 board. The label seemed to slow down a ton after the era where Defeater released a bunch of records.

All the talk of Rival/Rivalry and the discussion about the years they were active is making me miss the Year In Hardcore episodes, seems like it’s been a while. A question I had about the B9 board, how important was the board to the label itself, it almost seems that the label slipped a little in relevance as the board became less relevant and eventually was gone.

No no, there were no big barriers at Outbreak 2023! They had the same style of smaller stage closer to the audience, and then the band up on a higher step of the stage. People were flowing freely stagediving, and during Soul Glo and TUI the stage was invaded by hundreds of people to the point where security tried to end the set (which they succeeded with for Soul Glo).
