PLEASE READ: I HAVE MADE A MISTAKE!

Hello my dear patrons, some of you may have noticed that you did indeed get charged for this month despite Sticker Club being on a planned break for April. This is 100% a mistake on my part; despite announcing the break, I forgot to actually create a pause in billing. I'm so sorry for the confusion and inconvenience this causes! I take your pledges very seriously, and I'm disappointed in myself for letting you all down like this. I wish I had a better excuse, but Paper Surprise Sticker Club is a one woman show and occasionally that one woman messes up 😔

Because there is no way to reverse the charge and refund everyone all at once (more explanation on this below), here's what I plan to do:

• Instead of no charge in April, there will be no charge in May. I have already set this up:

• Next month, I will send out May stickers to everyone who was charged for April (even if you cancel your membership this month or next). So basically, you have already paid in advance for the May set when it's ready to go out next month.

• May's set is not yet finished, but the theme will be Spring Birds and Blossoms. I'll be including an extra surprise in everyone's envelope to try and make up for this situation. If you do not wish to receive May's sticker set, please contact me for a refund via email: ekuboillustration@gmail.com

Why am I doing it this way? My first thought was to reverse the charge and issue refunds, but there is no way to do this for everyone at once. Because of the way payment is processed, I would need to process everyone's refunds individually outside of Patreon, which would be a lengthy and complicated process. My second thought was to quickly finish the May set and send it out, but I don't want to rush it and send out a subpar sticker set that would most likely arrive late anyway (accounting for production and mailing time).

Passing along everyone's membership fees onto the next month seemed like the most straightforward option, and the one I would choose if I were a patron in this situation. That said, I completely understand that receiving a sticker set more than a month after you paid for it is not ideal!
