I thought to put this option in the poll after stumbling across a fascinating little youtube documentary about salamander life cycles in New England. I've always liked salamanders and other mucky little pond creatures, since I have lots of happy childhood memories of poking around in forest ponds. Salamanders are pretty fascinating; to me they feel like halfway between a lizard and a worm. All those amazing colors and patterns! Altogether a very inspiring creature, so I was happy to see that this option won the poll.
