This is a part that provides a counter melody to the vocals. It also doubles as a good exercise for unison bends. This is a common rock n roll technique. Description on how to pull off these maneuvers is in the video.
Once you know the techique, the part isn't too hard in theory. But it's also super tiring since you have to keep bending over and over again, which can be challenging the closer to the nut you're playing. With these factors taken into consideration, like most parts on this page, I'm going to tag this one 'intermediate'.
