Here's a more spacey sounding part for us to chill out with, after all the involved funk from last week's lesson.

My camera went wild and I had to record this lesson twice, so you get to witness me at wit's end. Life moves on however, and I'm back my regular self - the camera even made amends which was a nice gesture.

These shapes are based on the CAGED system. This term keeps coming up in these lessons, so I'm in the process of writing up another post explaining this.

TAB is attached.

Enjoy!

You've never had a dunker?

Good luck! It's definitely best to stick with learning the basics before trying a lot of the things on this page, but hopefully this can serve as a goal to work towards :)

Nice one Roger!

This was filmed with my Nikon d3300 with a 1.8 35mm lens. Also have used a Sony a6000 camera for some of the videos. Whichever is handy at the time

Glad your camera got its act together. I won't have to lecture it. I am going to have such fun making my guitar sound spacey!

Such a gorgeous part! Really simple, but really paints a picture. I'm glad we got a chance to hear it isolated, I've never picked it up in the song before! (And now having listened back to it--what ARE dunkers, anyway? I've always pictured like...doughnut sticks with dipping sauces? But I could NOT tell you why)

oh technologic Difficulties Phobolobodingledee .. (it happens to us all man, n my heart goes out to ya) Thanks for the tips, tabs & etc again as always! I finally picked up my guitar in fact! and Oooooooh my goodness ... the crashing realisation I know absolutely 0 about playing a guitar became instantly obvious! (I am getting some basic lessons and have exercises to work on also now too) ....but methinks this will be a very. long. uphill struggle for my more visually creative brain-meat :S wish me luck! XS

This riff is absolutely chordgeous. (Sorry)

Since we are on the topic of your camera, it would be sacrilegious of me as a film major to not ask what kind of camera/lens you use?
