The city of Azraga’ool was once a glorious sight of dwarven engineering and art, a bustling metropolis of busy folk, trading intricate devices, mountain forged weapons and ceramic urns.
The heat that welled up from within the mountain gave lifeblood to the dwarves and powered their city of stream and stone. They use to worship me, but over time they forgot, forgot that what I was giving them was a gift and not something for them to simply take as much as they wanted. They got greedy and wanted more than their share, they dug deeper and deeper into the mountain, into my heart, took what they wanted and doomed themselves.
The city creaked, strained and crumbled, under the collapse of my will, my blood poured from these cracks burning thousands alive and blackening the ground and walls, Filling the air with foul sulfur and ash.
And the one responsible for this, he watches till this day on his blackened throne, his skin hardened stone, fissures of heat underneath flesh fighting to escape his broken body. He’s gathered minions over the years, those whom would worship him as some kind of god… just like I was once worshiped. But not now, my wounds lay bare in the city and I am so very weak. I sleep and dream, perhaps one day those pure of soul will return my power to the mountain’s heart and stop this creature...
