We hope you're weekend is off to a great start. Today we are back with Jujutsu Kaisen, S2 Ep 3. We are getting closer and closer to figuring out what Fushiguro's plan is. Plus we learned more about Gojo's ability. And it involved us doing some math! Will Fushiguro step in today? Let's find out.
WHAT A CLIFFHANGER! We are really hating this episode. What does all this mean? Where do they go from here? So many twist and turns and so many questions! We are really liking being in the past and hope we stay here a bit longer.

Curse with Yuta in the movie is Rika-chan and this girl is Riko-chan. It’s confusing but it’s popular names for girls in Japan. -chan is one of the way calling young girls or baby. (-kun is for boys). -chan, -kun, -sama, -san usually describes their relationship and characters well. Like, are they close? Showing respect or looking down? Polite or arrogant. Gojo and Geto calling Riko as Riko-chan describes they are treating her as a normal young girl, even looking down as a kid in some ways. Everyone should have called her Riko-sama since she supposed to be Tengen-sama in the future. Yuta calling curse Rika-chan means they were close, known each other since they were little kids. Some people use this term for their lover so we can understand their relationship more. So even it’s same -chan, it could mean different things in context. If you call adult man with -chan, it can be an insult. But other times it can be very sweet. It’s so confusing but that’s how it is, haha.

You're about to see just how strong Gojo is, and I can't wait to see your reaction to it next episode. Yeah, Toji is a monster and crazy strong for someone without any curse energy. This whole season is so good and can't wait for you to get through it!

First, Gojo and Geto's teacher Masamichi Yaga, he is the principal of the Tokyo Jujutsu High in the future, and how he plays into all of this. When he gave Geto and Gojo the mission he chose the wording he used to describe it carefully. He purposely told them that Riko Amanai would be "erased" meaning she would die. He wanted them to know exactly what they would be doing by completing this mission and know the severity of their actions. Geto and Gojo are aiding in the killing of Riko Amanai by bringing her to Tengen. Second, Geto and Gojo's decision to give Riko Amanai an out. After being told exactly what their mission would be, both Geto and Gojo decided that if Riko did not want to assimilate with Tengen they would take her home. This is their own decision and has nothing to do with the mission. They would be going against tradition, jujutsu society, and Tengen himself by doing this. They are prepared for the ramifications of this, which is why they mention fighting Tengen in the flashback. Third, Riko Amanai's decision to not go through with the assimilation. Riko explains that she has always known she is special since she was born. This is because she was told since she was a kid this is what her life would amount too. She was born to die essentially and sacrifice herself for the good of jujutsu society. In order to cope with this, she has told herself she is fine with this and that she would not actually be dying. That is why when she is first introduced, she states that she herself is Tengen and Tengen is her. She is lying to herself in order to cope with her situation. When Geto tells her she has the possibility to go home, this shatters the delusion that she created for herself. This is the first time someone had asked if she wanted to do this. She does not want to die so she chooses to go on longer. Then the episode ends with Toji Fushiguro killing her.
