Happy Friday! Today we are back with Demon Slayer, Season 2 Episode 9! We felt like last episode was a little mini movie, but had just enough time to say goodbye to Rengoku before jumping ahead. Things are brewing and we are ready to find out what's ahead for our Demon Slayer Corps.
Today they are battling an Upper Rank! Plus a cliffhanger! Also enjoyed seeing a little more of the Japanese culture in this episode. Feels like we have been set up for some action that's about to go down. Can't wait!

Geishas are professional entertainers trained in traditional Japanese arts, including music (such as shamisen, drums, and flute), dance, poetry, calligraphy, witty conversation, and hosting. Unlike courtesans in the red-light district, geishas are not seggs workers. High-ranking courtesans are known as oiran. While their primary role involved physical pleasure, oiran also received training in arts, music, calligraphy, and conversation. Although geisha culture continues to thrive today, especially in Kyoto and Tokyo, the oiran declined by the late 19th century due to new laws that banned licensed prostitution.

Also try not to get confused with the "Orians" their different women they just look similar because of the traditional hairstyle and makeup. Good episode, can't wait for the next one!
