That last scene was so epic, I love how nothing is either black or white in this anime, the « tree » curse is obviously seen as an enemi since its objective is to eradicate humans but in reality all it wants is to heal nature 😭

2025-08-10 00:15:37 +0000 UTCtree curse is called hanami and you are correct, daniel. gramps wants to kill itadori in the competition and pass it off as a "game gone wrong" kind of accident, he had no involvement in geto's crew showing up at the school. you'll find out more about megumis involvement with the z'enin clan and geto later on! the movie and beginning of season 2 will jump around timelines a bit and answer your questions.
