This was the video I have been waiting for...some hope in a hopeless world. I've binged watched all of your videos but and became very concerned about the blinding speed with which we are racing towards AI development with little to no regard for safety outside of voices like yours. Thank you for giving me SOME hope, I immediately shared this with all of my friends and it caused several of them to go on binge watches of their own. Big AI research fans over here cheering you on from the stands! Decided I absolutely need to be putting my support where my heart is and as my literal favorite youtube channel (with Folding Ideas a close second) I wanted to come and say thank you and throw some support your way! Usually the comments do not provide new insights that often (since it is quite a niche subject and few people know a lot about the technical details), but this area has some interesting room for discussion. Thanks for occasionally doing these videos, I know that it's probably best to leave political discussion outside the videos themselves, but creating videos which stimulate a discussion is nice from time to time. Still, considering content, I prefer your other, a bit more technical videos (they're just insanely informative and good)
