The Write Up

“I hope you enjoy the view dear.” Mira said, bending forward. “You seemed quite keen to focus on these in your little side hustle.” Her employee’s large eyes flitted down, before shooting back to meet Mira’s gaze. “I don’t blame you; I’ve always liked them.”

Ella began rubbing her upper arms, coiling forward like a shrimp. “Please…” She whimpered. “I was… I was just…”

Mira’s lips coiling, she felt her fingernails carving into her palms. The evidence was incontrovertible, she’d seen the posts. “Just what!? Doing your job?” Mira snapped, letting her eyes slide to Ella’s right. The laptop screen was glowing, and Ella had left a sticker on the case, even partially closed Mira could read part of the sites Banner. The same site that had been hosting Candid photos, even nudes.  “If I’d wanted to be that kind of streamer… I’d just do it.” 

Ella winced, a slight blush coating her cheeks. “That’s not fair.” She whined, taking a sharp, short step towards Mira. “I was just…” Her little pupils darted back and forth. “…just…trying to help!” She looked around the room, her unshod feet flexing on the table top. “H-how could you do this!? Change me back!”

Mira smirked, leaning in close. “How…Bold.” The emphasis causing little Ella’s skirt to flutter in her breath. “Leaking candids? Platinum content? And you have the impertinence to even try to equate that to a science experiment?” Straightening her back, Mira folded her arms under her bust. Ella swallowed hard. “But Iva helped. The exact details would clearly be…” Smirking, she looked at the ceiling. “…over your head. Regardless, I think we can agree you’ve been demoted. More a prop, or pet than employee.” 

Ella’s face fell, her knee’s buckling with it. For a split second, Mira felt a pang of guilt. She reached down, patting Ella on the shoulder with one fingertip. “The new position comes with free room and board though.” She sang sweetly. “Maybe you can work your way back…up… the hierarchy.” Mira narrowed her gaze. “After you’ve shown you’ve grown as a person.”
