The now dwindled Sophie looked up angrily at her younger employee. "Hey! When I said you could try it, I meant on a... on a pen or something! I didn't mean..."
"For you two to be doing some online clothes shopping tonight?" Jenny finished.
Sophie grumbled. "Would you just hand that back?"
Maisie was frozen stiff, barely aware of the exchange happening around her. It had happened so fast! Barely a flash and... down they went.
The younger woman raised it higher, far out of reach of the shrunken duo. "Well, Maisie here asked me to work this weekend and you keep dodging my messages about a raise. So, maybe before that we need to have a little conversation..."
Sophie's gaze narrowed, she went to speak but Jenny cut her off. "So, take a seat! Or... are you two gonna need help with that?"
Sophie was quickly regretting inviting the uppity younger woman to this meeting - she'd take her own notes in the future to be sure...

However, she's not afraid to stand up for herself if need be. Like being an employee who is never listened to. Seeing Sophie's hair down is always a weird thing for me and I don't know why. lol Also, mini Maisie's inclusion and expression in this render is hilarious! Good work, Ivana! 😊
