A Little Glitch Part 2

"Maisie?! Are you there!?" 

Her friend's video call was a blur before it finally settled. The view looking straight down at the floor.

"Hello?!" Tina's voice was concerned.

Maisie was rattled. The voice of her friend sounded far away, her head was spinning, but soon her senses came back to her.

Tina watched her friend's face come back into view, as her concern drifted away to be replaced by her more usual incredulity. 

Maisie's senses were back - and she didn't look happy.

"Thanks for the link, Tina." Her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Any more apps you'd like to share? Maybe next time you can just send me a firework to open indoors?"

"What the hell did you even press? Did you just take a photo with the flash on?"

Maisie groaned. "I may not be the most tech savvy, Tina, but..."

Her friend chuckled at that. "'Not the most tech savvy'? I distinctly remember having to set up your laptop, your Blu-ray player, your Netflix account..."

Maisie interrupted. "Well, going by this magic-shrink-app of yours, I'm surprised any of those worked!"

The two enjoyed their usual banter, Tina decided to take the high road. "So, I'm guessing that means the app didn't work?"

"No, can confirm that." She said firmly.

Maisie had been so distracted by sniping at her friend, she hadn't noticed a sensation affecting her body...

The girl continued. "This thing feels roomier if anything." She said, not wholly serious... yet as the jest spilled from her lips, she felt the garment hang on her form a little heavier, the rolled-up sleeves slowly but surely relinquish their grip on her forearms...

Tina sighed. "Well, the app has passed all the tests so far so I'm chalking this one up to user error."

The friend waited for Maisie's witty retort, but none came. Tina was about to press her on that when Maisie's brow furrowed, her eyes scanning her body up and down.

Tina watched Maisie's arm raise into view, the outfit's sleeves hanging rather limp on her, Maisie's expression was one of surprise...

A thought suddenly came to Tina. "Uh, Maisie? You told the app to scan your jumper before you hit confirm, right...?"
