Jenna was on top of the world.

She had landed critical acclaim for her last three performances, worked with some of the most talented people in the industry, and was nominated nearly a dozen times across various award shows.

Of course, part of that was in thanks to a deal she had made with the enigmatic Nicole - the reach of the redhead's unseen empire knew no limits. The actor had been introduced to the mysterious woman, and a deal was made that would see Jenna's star rise to previously unseen heights.

Naturally, Nicole wanted compensation in return. She had been quite explicit with her contract, a certain sum was to be made to Nicole by a certain date. If the required cost was any less than what was agreed, then the enigmatic redhead told the actor that she would take what was she owed in whatever fashion she decided.

Jenna hadn't known what that was supposed to mean. Still, Jenna had acquired enough of a sum to make the payment but decided to pay only half by the agreed upon date. She figured she would pay the outstanding amount when her next cheques came through.

Yet Jenna didn't realize exactly who she was crossing - and upon seeing only half the amount paid, Nicole decided to take the other half in a fashion that most amused her - at the most amusing time possible.
