With a clink, the brass pin settled onto the desktop. The ruby-like stone she’d set in the handle caught the light, leaving the surface below nearly stained red. ‘Perfect… Now to do my hair and I’ll be ready.’ She thought to herself, looking in a mirror she’d pinned to the wall, Laura ran a brush through the vermillion strands of her hair. She smoothed it back into a loose pony tail and swept it into a tight bun.
Taking a few minutes, Laura puffed the bun out, trying to get as much volume as possible. Once she had, the bun would sit inside her costumes hat and she could pin it in place. ‘Thank you Millie, this was brilliant.’ She mused. ‘Now I won’t have to worry about losing it while dancing.’
As if on cue, the door to her dorm opened. From the sound of the soles, she could tell it was Millie’s favorite ankle boots. Turning round, Laura’s smile faded. Millie was wearing a simple dress, a combination rainbow turtleneck that turned into long almost denim skirt. Her backpack slumped against her desk as she toddled past in a daze. “I hope you’re not planning on wearing that.” Laura snapped.
“Why wouldn’t… What are you wearing?” Millie asked, blinking as she looked down at Laura. “Oh… that party. It’s…cute.” She said, her voice flat with a hint of irritation.
“That party. It started an hour ago, we’ll be beyond fashionably late. Where’s your costume?”
Millie’s jaw tensed, pulling her lips toward her left ear like some sort of joy sucking Lich. “Oh…I…Forgot about it.” She said, turning away from Laura and moving to her desk. “I guess I’m out of luck. Best go without me.”
Sandpaper began sliding up Laura’s throat. “Millie.” She grumbled.
“I’m sorry, I really wanted to go. But…no costume.”
Stamping her boot, Laura punched her hips. “Unacceptable Mills, you promised.”
Millie’s head lolled in place and she turned round. “Come on Laura, I hate Halloween parties.”
“Why? All our friends are going to be there. Maggie’s even going!”
Millie’s eyebrow raised. “Really, come to think of it I haven’t really seen her since your project… I don’t care. I can’t stand them, it’s just a paltry excuse for girls to get slutty and throw themselves at boys or each other.”
Folding her arms, Laura leaned against her desk. “That’s your excuse for EVERY party.”
“Triple so for Halloween.”
“I don’t care. You promised. Now what do you want to go as?”
“Pardon?”
“You know what I mean. Witch? Kitty Cat? Famous character?”
Millie turned around, squaring her shoulders and folding her arms. “Oh, whatcha going to do? Use your wicca powers to conjure a costume? I’m not interested. I tried to be nice, but I’m not going to tart it up to drink cheap beer and talk nonsense with all the little bimbos and...” Millie spun round, continuing her little tirade.
Laura’s eyes narrowed, and she let a smirk cross her face. Holding up her hand and arching her spine, rocking forward as arcane energy pooled in her fingers before billowing out in green light. Millie’s lean and lanky figure shuddered to a stop like an animatronic.
Grinning, Laura concentrated and the energy began pulsing forward, striking Millie in the shoulders, hips and spine before washing out across her limbs. Her body seemed to bubble and throb before slowly diminishing before her. Millie tried to speak, but her words were unintelligible. All the once towering brunette could manage was lifting one hand to her slowly emptying head.
“I didn’t want it to come to this sweetie.” Laura teased, moving forward. Millie’s dress grew loose, before it pulled taut once again, Laura could see her chest and hips swelling. “But you need to learn to keep your word.”
Millie’s eyes slowly slid through her skull, locking onto Laura as she walked round to face Millie. Her lips pursing as the haughty biology student’s mind slipped away. The girl had to tilt her head to maintain eye contact as she shrank down further. Craning her neck as the reduction stopped, she looked totally confused.
Reaching out, Laura seized Millie’s shoulder. “Isn’t that better? Now, you’re gonna come out with me and have fun. Boring Millicent can come back later. Maybe.”
“May…be?” Millie’s voice quivering. Her hands began sliding along her figure, squeezing her enhanced butt and bust. “O…K…”
“Oh, I hope I didn’t leave you too dumb…” Laura teased, playfully pouting.
Millie’s face pinched into an adorable pout, her lips filling in as she grimaced up at the now taller redhead. “I’m not dumb.” She pouted, crossing her arms and turning her face away.
‘Should I change her hair? Might be fun if… Knock it off. Times a-wasting.’ Laura pondered, stooping forward, she gently turned her roommate to look her in the eye.
“So, what do you want to BE for Halloween sweetie?”
Millie looked vacant, a dim flicker of the woman she was locked somewhere deep inside. She lifted a smaller hand, pointing weakly at Laura. “A…witch?”
Leaning down Laura smiled, planting a kiss on Millie’s cheek. “An excellent choice! Sadly, I don’t have anything that will fit you. If you could wear anything what would you want to wear?”
Millie’s cheeks blushed, her eyes trembling between fear, coy and anger. She looked down at herself, running a hand across her bust. “I dunno, I wanna look pretty…”
“Oooh, pretty? So, a corset and a skirt?”
Millie’s eyes lit up, her face breaking into a smile as she bounced on her feet, clapping her hands. “Yeah, yeah!”
Snapping her fingers, Laura shivered again as the green energy shot across the floor and began enveloping Millie’s clothing. Her turtleneck began burning away, shifting and melting into a tiny, tightly fit corset. Her skirt slipped up revealing her thicker, curvaceous thighs. Her boots sliding up to her shins and socks stretching into thigh high tights.
Millie’s dull expression lit up as her body lifted forward. The heels of her sensible boots stretching upwards. The transformed woman stood tall in a pair of monster platform heels and a scandalous outfit. ‘Who’ll believe this is really Millicent?’ Laura thought to herself.
“Party?” Millie asked, her face drooping in a delicate pout.
Smirking Laura chuckled, shaking her head. “Not yet, the costume’s not quite complete.” Turning round, she reached out, plucking the crafted hat pin from her desk she moved over to the closet. Pulling her costume witch’s hat from inside, Laura moved back to her morphed roommate. Lifting the hat she set it on Millie’s head. Gently, she poked the pin through the hat’s fabric. Gently threading it through the diminished woman’s shoulder length bob. “Almost! All that’s missing now is a little makeup. Would you like that sweetie?”
“Make...up? I don’t use that stuff…do I?” Millie asked, gently running a finger along the brim of her hat.
“Of course you do, you silly little Bimbo.” Laura said softly, snapping her fingers. Millie pawed lightly at her face as green energy washed across her skin. “All done, you look so PRETTY!”
Millie’s dull eyes twinkled, and she broke into a wide grin. “Yah?!”
“Oh yes, Vogue for me darling.” Laura said, twirling her wrist and hand. Millie giggled, and prowled past the couch. Turning, she crossed her legs and popped her hips to the side. Mincing back towards Laura, the now taller woman grinning coldly. “Excellent. Shall we go?”
