Maisie was thankful she as such a night owl.
It was nearly 2am, and she had decided after two glasses of wine to finally test her new hormone acceleration formula she had been tinkering with. Her calculations had indicated she'd see an increase in body strength, upticks in endurance and even some minor gains in height.
Well, it appeared she had made a rather huge mistake somewhere along the way.
Mercifully, it had started slow. Maisie realized she was indeed growing, but it didn't appear to be stopping. In a panic, she got out of her home and into an alley before she had crushed her apartment building. Her clothes were quickly a torn mess, but at the very least - it did appear as though the formerly diminutive brunette had stopped growing for now.
There was a counteragent that should reverse the process - the problem being that it was back at the lab where she worked. So, she needed to cross the several city blocks to get there - Maisie had never been a fan of commuting, but this approach gave her a newfound disdain for it.
2am on a Tuesday night. Surely no one would be up at this time, but the giant young woman kept seeing lights on in people's apartments! Maisie was fairly confident in her stealth so far, her speed and deftness hadn't been affected, and every step brought her closer to the counteragent. She saw up ahead a more trafficked crossing - waiting for her moment when she heard car engines drift away into the night.
She saw an opening, and crept past the light in a window, as she did she heard a car approaching! The giantess kicked up her pace, she just had to get to work and hope her fingers could fit through the third storey window into her office...

Oooo! Very interesting! I'm not into growing as much as I am with shrinking. Usually, the growing I enjoy only involves gaining a foot to 3 feet. However, the story really makes this so fun to me. It really reminds me of shrinking due to your narrative abilities. I get a strong sense of vulnerability while reading this. Typically growing is attributed to power and control. It's like you wrote a shrinking story based on the mood. Great job, Ivana! Very interesting and delightful! 😊 Edit: Also, Maisie is really cute~ ❤️

It has potential for a what-if scenario in which Maisie instead of grow has shrunk. As she noticed her shrinkage she immediately drove to the lab and reached the building before she had another shrink spurt, leaving her naked and below a size of 3 feet tall. She decided to try to sneak into the lab and to bypass the security guards.
