Maisie felt all the frustration that she had been able to bury swell to the surface on a rising tide of red wine. She groaned through gritted teeth, stepping over the enormous glass, her outfit sopping with alcohol. "Would you be more careful! Look at me! I'm fucking soaked!"

Sophie felt the walls of her pride sealing around her. "It was an accident!" The giant woman shot back. "Besides, what were you doing wandering off like that?"

That took hold of the youngest of the trio's anger. "Wandering off? I walked literally to the edge of the desk! Which you could have knocked me off!"

"Then why..." Sophie drew out the question. "Were you standing at the edge of the desk? You could have had broken bones instead of red wine stains! You need to be more careful!"

Maisie blinked, throwing up her hands. "I need to be more careful!? You're the one who left a shrink ray lying around!"

"And you ended up shrinking yourself!"

Jenna watched this tirade between the two younger women. The teacher was convinced they were both careless and needed to be more responsible.

Maisie started again, but Sophie simply cut her off. "Now I've got to clean up this mess... You couldn't even use a cloth if I gave it to you." It was a spiteful comment.

The tiny graduate stomped her feet, almost childishly. "You knocked it over! So you should clean it up anyway!"

Sophie felt a punitive thought rise in her. Who did this tiny brat think she was talking to? She was small, and the scientist was not - didn't that mean Maisie shouldn't speak like this to her? As if the thought was made manifest, Sophie ignored the little brunette's comment, reached over her and lifted the now empty glass and stood from the chair.

Maisie could only watch as the enormous woman seemed to rise... and rise... and rise! Having been speaking to the seated Sophie for some time, the exact size difference between them had drifted from their minds, but now it was once again impossible to ignore.

The tiny woman stammered at the sight, her neck craning upwards. Futilely she wiped at her stained top, she went to speak but found she didn't have the words.

"Now, here's what's going to happen..." The scientist said firmly.
