Ivana arched an eyebrow, her green eyes focusing on and trying to burrow deep into Jenna. Probing the shorter woman for a moment before her face began to tighten. Jenna beamed, feeling the stone warming in her hands. Silence draping over the pair as they sat on Jenna’s couch. Ivana was clearly fighting her usual imperious smirk, a habit that had once gotten under Jenna's skin.
“You're finally going through with it?” Ivana asked, her lyrical voice shifting. She took a greedy gulp of the tea, wincing a bit as the liquid seemed to burn her tongue.
Jenna narrowed her eyes, smirking back at her ex. “I am.”
“Oh.” Ivana giggled “Naturally you've considered…”
Holding up a hand, Jenna sipped her own drink. The Stone seemed to warm, resonating with her pulse. “Everything.” She replied, slowly resting her mug in her hand. Jenna leaned back in her seat, the distance between the pair growing.
“What about your career?” Ivana said coolly. “This is a tremendous burden, and let’s face it you haven’t been historically very mature. What about schooling, childcare, do you have a---"
Jenna sighed, holding up her index finger. “You, especially, don't get to tell me what to do. I know what I'm doing.”
“Do you though?” Ivana purred, stretching out and invading Jenna’s space. Taking Jenna’s hand in a mockery of concern, Ivana leaned forward. “A baby is a tremendous responsibility.” Her face taut in a cold smirk.
“Jealous?” Jenna parried, twisting her grip and grabbing Ivana’s wrist. “I seem to recall you enjoying being nursed and rocked to sleep in a pair of depends.” Before Ivana could reply, a crack pierced the air, not unlike a burst of static electricity. The stone in Jenna’s hand felt like it was ringing like a bell. The room was washed out in pale lavender light for a fraction of a second.
“Remember our trip to Port Macquarie?” She said with a wink, letting her eyes scan across Ivana's figure. “Want a repeat.”
Ivana’s cheeks flushed, she tried weakly to pull away. “Don't remind me, that was…” She whispered, her voice soft and nearly inaudible. The taller woman seemed to shimmer, purple waves washing across her skin and disappearing under her clothes.
“Fun?” Jenna pried, she couldn't tell if Ivana had even noticed the light. “You don't have to hide Ivana. We both know you’re into that fantasy.”
With considerable effort Ivana yanked her hand free, composing herself by rubbing her wrist and blushing.
Jenna beamed, silently watching as Ivana’s pink jumper began to subtly collapse. She opened her mouth to speak, then paused. Blowing a lock of hair out of her face before looking slightly up into Jenna’s eyes. “I don’t… just… I mean…” Her voice stammering as she fidgeted in her seat.
Jenna leaned forward, enjoying watching her exes transformation. The back of the couch seemed to expand behind her like a growing wall, her slender neck narrowing in the collar of her jumper. “Use your words dear.” Jenna sang, looming increasingly over her dwindling guest.
“This…somethings wrong here…” Ivana whimpered. Lifting an arm, Ivana watched in awe as the growing sleeve tried to swallow her hand.
“Clever girl.” Jenna purred, reaching out and booping Ivana on her dwindling nose.
