Important Notice: Tier Rewards Update

Like the title says, we're going to update the descriptions of our tier rewards. 

The new tier descriptions will apply starting from June 1st 2020, so this is just a heads-up of what changes are coming. They're necessary, but none of them are scary, promise. 

Summary Of The Changes

• the 5% and 10% promo codes to receive a discount off Miro's Affect3D Store products will no longer be sent to patrons who subscribe to Founders or Regular Tier 1 and 2 for the first time.  
  
• the tier descriptions of Founders Tier 1 and Founders Tier 2 will refer to their Regular Tier 1 and 2 counterparts for info, because the rewards are exactly the same.  
  
• shortened the tier descriptions of Regular Tier 1 and 2 to be more to the point.
  

New Tier Descriptions (Preview)

Please take a moment to read the new tier descriptions carefully. If you have any questions or concerns, let us know in the comments section, but I'll explain some stuff at the end of this post as well.  

WIP Train Updates Only ($1)

• Access to our Patron-only feed with info about main movie productions.
• Early access to WIP images of the main movie.      

Founders Tier 1 ($2.50)

• You get everything from Regular Tier 1 for HALF the price.    

Regular Tier 1 ($4.95)

• Everything from WIP Train Updates Only. 
• Info about ongoing and upcoming image set productions.
• Early access to image sets (released in parts).  
• Early access to WIP videos of main movie productions when available. 
• Early access to camtest videos of early stage (Fun Stuff) Adult Animations of main movie productions when available.    

Founders Tier 2 ($5.00)

• You get everything from Regular Tier 2 for HALF the price.  

Regular Tier 2 ($10.00)

• Everything from Regular Tier 1. 
• Animation Poll access: vote on positions you want to see animated, character pairings, variations, etc. 
• Early access to Adult Animations. Content of adult animations varies per month. Content includes:
• Image Set Adult Animations with audio.
• Extra angles of Image Set Adult Animations when available.
• HQ Previews of (Fun Stuff) Adult Animations from the main movie when available.  
  

Changes Explained

Removal of promo codes as a general reward

A while ago we did a survey to ask everyone how much they value promo codes as a reward. Based on the answers we received from the people who filled out the survey, it sounded like not many people cared that much about the promo codes. 

When we checked how many times the codes were actually used in the Affect3D Store, it also turns out they're barely being used. We figured this is probably because the majority of you already own most of Miro's products, and products like the image sets can be obtained through your subscription. So for those reasons, we decided to remove them from the rewards. 

Promo code for Bloodlust: Lanessa - Blood Crown

We're still going to send out a separate promo code to patrons at the release time of Bloodlust: Lanessa - Blood Crown, like we did for Royal Descent. That's always been the plan, so no need to worry about that. ;)

Update of tier descriptions

Besides rephrasing some stuff and dropping the promo codes, the rewards themselves will stay the same. The tier descriptions will just better describe the content that we're posting on Patreon nowadays and will keep posting in the future. (Hopefully they're quicker to read too.)

The previous tier descriptions put more emphasis on the main movie updates, but as we've mentioned in the comments, the focus of Patreon has shifted to mainly image sets, image set animations, and sporadic updates about main movie productions like Bloodlust: Lanessa. The bulk of the monthly content we post is image set (animation) related, and Bloodlust: Lanessa updates are posted once or twice per month. This doesn’t mean that producing main movies has become less important to us than producing image sets. It only means that main movie updates are less frequent, and we post an update when Miro feels ready to share something.
