G4E - Tara's Genesis 3 Model Update #03
Added 2020-05-02 13:01:01 +0000 UTCHey guys, here's another update on Tara's G3 model. We got rid of WIP v.02 Tara's beach girl tan and we brightened her complexion, so she's become more fair-skinned like her original model.
I'm quite happy with her new skin texture, so let's hear what you think of it :)

The next thing I'd like to work on is Tara's body shape. A new version of her hair is also in the works, so we'll see if we can include some WIP images in the next update. :)

(hope Miro doesnt mind the feedback) I really like her yellowish skin tone because I notice alot of the models in all the image sets etc have similar skin tones. I think Tara's skin tone really sets her apart from the other characters. Pluse Marie's charm just adds that extra excellence to her personality!

2020-05-05 18:02:30 +0000 UTCHey it's Maxtor, yay! Lowering the mandibles and narrowing the chin works WONDERS! That brings it so much closer to her original face structure which was really unique. The little gleam in her eye is a little much but seriously, really nice tweaks you made.

2020-05-05 17:51:21 +0000 UTCI sorta did some edits to her myself since I think Miro knows by now shes one of my fav characters. https://imagetwist.com/v570xplvef94/G4E_-_Tara_v03_rev.jpg I slightly pushed her mandibles down, narrowed her chin, and removed that gloss of her lip because it gave the illusion her lips were bigger than they should be. ( could just be me). She still looks a bit too tan imo. I prefered her other skin tone. Also I lightened her eyes a bit. Other than that, I think shes getting there!!

Her eyes arenβt quite the same and yeah the skin tone doesnβt fit 100% yetβ¦ but the most important thing Iβm just now noticing is the slight change in facial structure. Miro did you guys lower her cheek bones a little? Looking at 01 Front v03 and 01 Front original makes me wonderβ¦ I mean I had to check closely but now seeing it side by side yeahβ¦ something is offβ¦ her face is less βwideβ / lost some of itβs width! Also I like her old eyebrows better... (I'm not sure on that one maybe it just seems like they are different.) Gotta say I prefer the old Tara after actually taking my time as I should have in the beginning...

More on the innocent side than Tara ever came across. Although the angles in the full body images do a lot better job of giving her a little more edge to her look.

Her skin texture and tone look great she has that healthy glow about her and her new eyes give her that innocent but naughty look. A+++++ all around.

2020-05-02 16:15:44 +0000 UTCG4E - Tara v03 side-by-side 01 Front original.jpg One of the more prominent differences that I'm noticing is that the new Tara has her pupils dialated wider in her eyes and that her iris color seems darker than the original, meaning she doesn't have the same "icy glare" in the new version that she was capable of doing in the original. The fairer/whiter skin tone on the update is moving closer to the original than the "summer tan" you had previously, but still has a bit too much "pink" in Tara's skin tone. Tara ought to have "goth girl white" skin (as if she too was a vampire?!?) that would look right on someone who lives at high latitudes (England, Scotland, Iceland, New Zealand ... you get the idea) and who doesn't get a lot of sun (the old saying about Light Without Heat and all that). That lighter/whiter skin tone then contrasts really well with Sayako's slightly more tanned look quite beautifully. So ... you're on the right track with lightening the skin tone, but you need to go a bit further with that, and do a little more work on her eyes and eye color to better match the original.

I also noticed that you pulled her cheekbones down a tad, and if I'm wrong, did you also flatten her face as well a little? Because when I looked at the picture showing the angled profiles of 02 vs 03, I see that 02 is a little bit more rounded compared to 03. Both look amazing either way, just something I noticed. As for the hair, I am at present liking what you have currently for her hair, although I'm looking forward to what you have in mind for v04 for her. Oooh, I just realized that you also slightly raised the high of her eyes, and I THINK you also changed the angle of her eyebrows. Frankly I am now just enjoying seeing what differences you've made to the composition that is Tara. (Makes me wish I knew you had a Patreon to see you evolving Sayako's model to her current design) Okay I like what you did with the lips, specifically raising the corners of her lips a tad, and the fact you brightened up the colour, although that might've had to do with the fact you brightened up her skin in general. But back to the original point, I am digging the lip shape. It helps bring out that confidence that Tara exudes (and brought to life by Maria of course) Did you also happen to soften the look of Tara's iris? Because I notice that it looks a bit muted and not as sharp. I personally like it. It softens her overall look, makes her model look less mechanical an artistic composition, if that makes any sense. Am I also spying the fact her eyes are also a touch wider in terms of how far apart the eyelids are? And I'm not sure how, but I missed the fact she's had freckles across her neck and chest. I believe they're that, but either way they add a certain life-likeness to her which I like. Oh boy I just realized how much I've already written. Anyways keep up the good work, I hope this little review finds you well, and until the next update! :)
