One of the largest toy companies in South Korea - notable not just for its enormous profit margins, but for its eccentric CEO - had decided they needed a model to be the face of their new doll. Whomever was chosen would be on merchandise, appear in promotional campaigns, the works.
However, this eccentric CEO - she had an even more eccentric approach in mind for determining who would be best suited for the role of her company's new doll. After an extensive interview and audition process, the final eight women were invited to stay at the CEO's home for a week.
Shortly after the women arrived, the CEO explained that she had a device that would help her make her final determination. In a few moments, the women were all the size of the doll that would be her company's new product line. After the initial panic had worn off, she explained that after living life as a doll for a week - they'd all be restored and the winner chosen. Some were excited, some were furious, most were somewhere in between.
