Smaller on the Outside

Clara tugged at a small grey pill, tendrils of wool brushed against her fingertips as she watched the gyro-clock swirl about. Her book, ‘101 Places to See’ sat on the mattress.

'Stupid Gallifreyan clocks. Can't they make anything sensibly?' She thought, her eyes darting to the small touch pad by the door. A soft nigh imperceptible light faded in and out, pulsing rhythmically as the police box thrummed through the fourth dimension.

She felt her molars grind as she glared at it, it was almost impossible but she 'felt' the tardis glaring back at her.

Rolling her eyes, she glanced at the little calendar she'd hung beside the pad. Eight little hash marks scratched into the week, with the symbols the Doctor had been teaching her.

She chewed her lip, massaging her temple with one hand. "This is weird right?" She chirped, waiting for any sign her shifting prison understood her.

The swirling clock clicked and shimmered as the components inverted in space. Groaning, she bent down and slipped her nylon clad feet into her heeled boots.

Lacing them tight she sprang from her seat and stormed through the immense ship. Her mood lightened as she plod through the halls, each door hissing open on its own as she approached.

Clara's lips curled into a smirk as she strode onto the bridge, the orange plasma coils cooling to a dull blue as she slammed her hands onto the octagonal console. "Right, I know you and I haven't gotten on recently, and I'm sorry I clipped that singularity by Arcadia. But! In my defense I'm still learning."

One column shifted red before rotating away from her. "Again, so sorry. But the Doctor’s been gone for over a week by my count. That's weird, even for him."

Clara reached out and snapped a few levers before punching some commands on an anachronistic keyboard. The scowling face of her companion appeared.

She scrunched her nose as she scanned the alien symbols swirling about in a field. The Doctor's picture landed right back where she expected it, and a panel opened indicating he was still on Arcateen IV.

"I know he said to wait for him, but this doesn't feel right." Her fingers flashed across the console, flipping switches before she reached out and grabbed hold of the Quantum throttle.

She gave it a tug, but the mechanism pulled against her hand. The screen flashed red and black, the TARDIS bringing a zoomed in picture of The Doctor, as if the ship was chastising her.

She gripped the throttle with both hands, pulling it with all her might. The TARDIS console went blank for a moment, a low series of tones emanated from within. "Don't start with me again. I haven't forgotten the bedroom incident."

The console lit up, undulating and charging in a way that reminded the teacher of a self-satisfied smirk.

"Oh no-no-no-no, do not fight me now. He needs me. He needs us!" She groaned, yanking on the throttle.

For several moments, the TARDIS resisted, chirping as Clara struggled. She hinged her hips, every sinew in her hands and arms screamed as she pulled.

One leather heel planted against the panel as she pushed her entire body away. Suddenly the handle released, sending the brunette tumbling backwards, thumping her head against a support rail.

With a whimper, she rose to her feet and returned to the railing. With a pout she glared at the central columns. "Not funny." She reached out to monitor the TARDIS' transit, the vessel was in motion. She braced herself as the vessel began its "landing" phase.

The familiar whooshing sounds ground along space time as the vessel settled into place. "Good." She said, shaking her head. She ran her fingers through her hair, putting it back in place as best she could.

Clara huffed and stomped up to the door. "Thank you, I'll fetch him and be back soon." Holding her head up high she threw open the door and stepped onto the alien world.

Squinting she took several steps, shielding her face with her hand. The ground was dark, save for a large obstacle some ten meters in front of her. A vague bit of movement drew her attention to one side of the obstruction. Something big was shifting along it's edge.

The entire thing creaked and lifted onto one end. Her jaw dropped as the thing came into focus.

"A foot!?" She whispered, dropping her hand as she looked skyward. Her eyes adjusted and her vision cleared, the foot was smooth, set in a pair of fashionable if enormous flat sandals. The leg rose into the sky, and Clara could finally realize the office chair it rested upon.

There dangling above the TARDIS, and herself was the sandals match, dangling precariously off the edge of the seat. "This isn't Arcateen IV..?"

There was a sharp click, and suddenly the TARDIS began to sing to life. Whirling back, she saw the box begin to glow and fade in and out of reality as the loud whooshing returned.

"No!?" She hissed darting back to the dissolving police box. It disappeared, Jenna crossed the threshold right as the box faded away entirely.

Pouting she folded her arms and shifted onto one leg. "H.A.D.S! I'm going to disassemble every piece of that damn thing if it takes me the rest of my life." She grumbled.

A dark shadow washed her back to the present. Turning around she found herself ensnared in a leathery prison. Five bench sized digits enveloped her, and before she knew it she was hoisted skyward.

Directly in front of her was a dark haired woman with proportionally large eyes. She looked... human! Just exponentially larger. Jenna gasped as she looked down.

Well below her captors impressive bust was the floor of a generic office. 'Did that mechanical menace shrink me? Am I on some giant planet?' She wondered, crossing her legs.

The giantess regarded her carefully, tilting a bus sized head while adopting a warm, condescending smile. It reminded her of someone looking at a kitten for the first time.

Clara kicked and punched, trying to break free of the fist that held her. The woman opened her mouth, then paused, pursing her lips and furrowed her brow. "My my. What an impossible little thing you are." Her bubbly voice rolled through her like thunder. "Wherever did you come from?"

The teacher gasped, looking into the titanic woman's eyes. "Umm... Blackpool?" She answered, straining her ears and willing herself to hear the TARDIS returning.

"Ooh, that's quite a journey. How did you get here? Raven?" The giantess giggled, sticking her tongue out. She shifted in place, and Clara heard a cacophony of thuds and crashes. Looking over her shoulder she saw a mountain of pens and office supplies lying beneath an upturned drinking glass.

Before she could react, the titan tilted the cup and shoved Clara into the opening. Standing the glass up, Clara found herself trapped. "You just wait there. We'll have fun soon."

The tiny teacher shuddered, her host began closing her workstation. Clara put her hands on her hips. "I may just disassemble the Doctor while I'm at it."

She grumbled, tottering on her feet as the titan lifted her cell into her oversized bag. "I'll getcha home, then we can chat over tea."

Oooh. Perhaps we need to see an alternate size debacle with Clara and the TARDIS?

Ivana

She deserves it, she's aching for it. And what a fine size for her to disappear into a private collection forever. Though, I'd hope to see the TARDIS spitting her out at about half height.

TheSizeFetishist

Thanks so much! It was a fun little tableau to put together... perhaps we need to see more of Clara's adventures?

Ivana

Gorgeous upload! You really nailed the look of the Tardis, and Clara's expression work is exquisite as always. ♥️
