Not A Toy 071

Action was better than resignation. No matter how foolhardy the action was - the two shrunken women wordlessly agreed on that. 

Leveraging their combined strength, they were able to turn the phone to rest so it was at its tallest. The pair exhaled as it stood between them, their hands holding it steady. 

It was Maisie who spoke first. "Okay." Her voice shaken by how much effort that had required from them both. "So who's going to go out there?" 

There was a reluctant silence as they both considered that. It was what they wanted; to be free of this purse-turned-prison, but the prospect ahead of them was scurrying about the floor while that redhead stomped around. They both refused to say it out loud, but suddenly the bag wasn't a horrible prospect. Yet their desire for freedom won out, and it was Jenna who's voice filled the silence first.

"I know the room better than you, plus... you stand out more against the floorboards with that white top and shorts." 

Maisie nodded, the teacher wasn't wrong. Their eyes travelled to the phone that stood between them. "If we lean it against the edge, I'll brace it from beneath so you can climb up..."

"I'll try and hide, when she comes back, you tell her that we aren't going with her until she fixes that stupid device."

The pair had a plan. The younger of them getting beneath the phone as they leaned it towards the wall of the purse, which bore the brunt of the weight. "Okay, go!" Came Maisie's voice.

The half naked woman reached out, her hand able to find some purchase where the camera was inset. She pulled herself up, and found that the layers of fingerprints from months of use gave her feet a surface she could adhere to. The tiny teacher pushed away the absurdity of what was happening and focused on her plan. Once she was out, if she ran to where the crates were kept, that would be her best bet. She just needed to hide long enough for the stranger's patience to run out.

Jenna's head was near to cresting the lip of the purse, as her hands took hold of the top of the phone, her vision was flooded by the enormous room once more and...

Jenna gasped. There she was.

Sophie looked down at the shrunken woman; her dwindled teacher's face a mask of shock and fear. The redhead had almost forgotten how small she was, and from the looks of it, Jenna had had forgotten just how large Sophie was.

For her part, Maisie was beneath the phone, completely unaware of what was happening. "Hey! Are you still there? Whats the hold up?"

Jenna didn't reply, just staring up at the towering woman, her mouth agape. She tried to form a sentence, and yet nothing intelligible came - her mind clouded by all manner of shock, fear and anger.

Sophie suffered no such conniptions however. "And where do you think you're going?"

The scientist was mildly impressed at the resourcefulness of these two - even if their plan seemed nearly as short-sighed as them. The door was closed shut. Where were they going to go? Really all they were doing was validating Sophie's belief that this duo was entirely unreasonable.

Maisie went tense beneath the phone as the stranger's voice boomed above, rage and despair rising in equal measure at their plan being instantly undone.

Up above, Jenna's face almost went red. The tone that Sophie used was similar to how the teacher addressed the children. The tiny woman spoke, her voice slightly up-pitched - robbing her of any authority she might have been able to muster. "I... Now, you're going to listen to me; take that device..."

"Boop!" Was Sophie's response to the earnest attempt at intimidation from the half-naked woman. The redhead's hand shot out and gently pushed Jenna from her perch. The tiny teacher shrieked and tumbled backwards, falling once more into the prison Sophie had created for them.

The scientist was reminded at just how light and feeble her device had made the two little escape artists. Sophie paid no heed to Jenna's words. "We're just about ready to leave." 

Maisie heard the shriek, felt the weight of the phone adjust and scurried out from beneath it as Jenna tumbled within.
