The warm, overpowering grip of Sophie's fingers peeled themselves from the teacher's hips, and she fell. Her arms and legs flailed in a desperate hope that she could save herself. She watched as the room vanished over the lip of the bag and her vision filled with walls of fabric and stitching. The drop felt like it lasted a long time, as Jenna's thoughts played over in her head - envisioning how she had thought this afternoon would go versus the madness she now found herself in; still wanting this to be a terrible nightmare after falling asleep at her desk.
She was shaken from such wishful thinking as her body landed against something hard, there was movement all around her, the tiny woman rolled off and felt her form sink between two cool surfaces. Her eyes darted, panicked, her legs tried to untangle themselves from the clumsy mess she found herself, her free hand tried to take hold of something and pull herself upward, her other arm was buried beneath her own body.
Uncertainty. Confusion. Fear. All these played out as she tried to make sense of her surroundings while nursing an ache after her tumble. With more difficulty than expected, she was able to pull herself up, making use of something large and pink just beside her.
"No..." It was the only whispered word she was able to form as tried to parse what she was seeing. The hard surface she had landed on was a water bottle, and she had wedged herself between that and a compact mirror! Exerting more strength than she expected, she rolled the large canister away to make some room, liquid sloshing inside, and... the stranger's phone titled away from her! Jenna couldn't believe it.
She was so small...
Water bottle. Compact mirror. Phone. Was that deodorant? There was more in here too - and each movement she made jostled the contents somewhat. The smell inside was cloying and close. She took a breath, and tried to stand, nearly stumbling immediately. The bag was on the ground but this material made it tricky to find sure footing...
At last, the tiny woman's eyes travelled upward and she saw no sign of the looming stranger. She could hear movement beyond but she was seemingly 'alone'. She just needed to climb out of here and...
Jenna's eyes widened as she took stock of her situation. She was still unaware of just how small she had become, her jaw tightened as she saw the top of the bag was actually out of reach!
"Fuck!" The teacher swore as she stepped as high as she could and reached, but her tiny limb was still unable to close the distance.
Jenna tried to leap but found getting any solid footing here was difficult. The teacher realized as well, even if she could reach the lip of the bag, it wasn't like there were footholds or something sturdy to find leverage on!
Her mind raced. Could she topple the bag over from within? It was a more viable option than climbing out but... she remembered how difficult it had been to move that plastic container when she had been much taller than she was now. Did she even have the strength or weight to do such a thing?
Unthinking, she dragged her hands against her hips and her body - cleaning away where Sophie's grip had encased her shrunken form. Part of her wanted to call out, yell, scream, curse the woman that had done this to her - but another part of her was just thankful that she wasn't the focus of her attention right now. Still, the other side of that coin was that she now had no idea what was happening beyond her new confines...
