The first thing I thought of when I saw this was The Inferno from The Goonies-I'm a baby of the 80's... can't help it! I can imagine this as apart of a massive diorama of one of the scenes in the cave with all the characters. This could work around Halloween time for sure. Incredible you could make something like that entirely with edible materials!

Every time I think you've topped yourself, you make something even MORE amazing! That candied sweet potato recipe sounds amazing, I will have to try it for Christmas dinner!

Could you do a You version of a fireplace and mantle for Santa/Christmas? Or make some kind of tree topper for Christmas?? I know you would nail both of these. Love watching you, long time listener, first time caller 😁

Hi Christine, I really admire your hard work and creativity. Most of all, I admire your ability to learn and grow. I know sometimes being on camera can be tough and one can say and do things they maybe didn’t think through. You may not know that Thanksgiving can be a really challenging time for Indigenous peoples (especially due to the spreading of false colonizer narratives). We need more people amplifying Indigenous voices and truths and honouring Indigenous cultures all year round. I know you likely want to support indigenous peoples more too and I would really appreciate it if you could find a way to respectfully acknowledge indigenous peoples in future content. If you’re not sure where to start, maybe reach out to a local indigenous community or cultural centre. Maybe you could even have indigenous artists or creatives as guests on your show to amplify their voices. You could also look into adding a land acknowledgment to your episodes that honours the land you live and work on and the indigenous peoples that have lived and cared for that land since time immemorial. Thank you for your consideration!

A wonderful demo, I really enjoyed this. I do have a question - could you use solid coconut oil in place of the Crisco?

Amazing - you are crazy! It is spectacular. So - does anyone else want to tear apart that ship now that it's all done and filmed?
