90s Japanese cars are just special. I don't have anything special like this, just a 1997 Miata (& a 2012 mazda3), but the lightness, analog control, and finley tuned simplicity of that era was wonderful.

BTW when you get around to doing the stereo I may be able to help you out, family had a hell of a car stereo business in the 90s, we used to do custom sleeper style installs that would still win SPL and SQL contests while looking stock back when the car stereo market was actually innovating and doing cool shit. For a while we had a Lumina van that would flip quarters placed on the roof when the bass would hit all powered off a single Precision Power 8350DM amp. Ended up getting out of it cause much like with rally stuff in the 90s, the contest rules started getting stupid and killing innovation and shit got boring, but we still do custom installs from time to time.
