I say more like wait and watch the next episode.Goku could be dead but like in cell arc when he helped Gohan in the struggle with Cell, Goku could have done same here but more like vegeta triggering his transformation with Gokus motivation.

2025-09-05 07:19:48 +0000 UTCSo, my guess here. If it’s not meant to be figurative, and Goku is actually dead here. Arj is making use of something so severely forgotten within the dragon ball lore and I love it. Goku being killed by Frieza wouldn’t just be him dying and going to other world, in the series it’s explained that being so evil are considered demons, when someone dies to a demon in the mortal realm their spirit is unable to pass on to the other world. Effectively trapping them in the mortal realm as a disembodied spirit. This is the explanation given for how Guru managed to be informed of the Super Saiyan God’s existence, through Yamoshi’s non-corporal spirit after having been killed, by most likely Cumber. So in a way, Goku is “fusing” his essence into Vegeta. Healing him and seemingly taking him to a power beyond what just super saiyan would’ve. And if it’s not his spirit fusing with Vegeta’s, then Goku’s spirit just healed him or something. Either way, I love the symbolism 💀 this Vegeta is like unnecessarily obsessed with Goku 😭🤣
