The Vegito in Vegeta is Devil Vegito-He will trick Vegeta to get out because them on earth wouldn't think there is more than 1 Vegito in demon realm. Hopefully he’s at least the Lucif-Vegito that Dai smited before vegito used the last time ring hit gave him. If I recall correctly True Demon Vegito was used against Z and if you think about it. that version of Vegito doesn’t even have Yamoshi, Broly, Makoto, Light, and the Guards yet. Don’t get me wrong the devil is super strong but our vegito has broly and yamoshi to stack on his already broken zenkais. I don’t see the devil faring too well against Vegito. But it makes sense for true demon vegito / the devil to become evil because he doesn’t have the others to help him remember who he is and to keep him from becoming evil. Especially because Goku didn’t even have the seraphim yet when Z smited those vegitos making that version much easier to turn evil

Hopefully he’s not the alternate timeline vegitos Z smited but an entirely different being made up of Vegitos evil deeds and energy like when he killed heles innocent daughters just because they were part god along with Gaiba just because he was the daughter of the west supreme kai. Same way Cellza said he doesn’t know who cell is but looks exactly like him along with Iza who looked like Janemba and the buu like emperor of sector 4. Especially because Cellza even said demon emperors are born from the greatest evils to exist in the mortal realm. But aye, I’ma let ARJ cook like he always does! Vegito realizing he’s possibly even more evil then Lucif and the gods he destroyed would be the greatest irony for him, not to mention when he realizes this reveal of the devil being him🔥😎

We all know somehow Vegito will escape the demon realm in however many episodes but let's talk about Lucif for a second. So, from all the information I've gathered, Lucif knows Vegito will come for him soon, I'm not sure if he knows about the Grand Priest just yet but he's still here, Lucif stated that he knows that the elder gods are watching and still continues his plans. It just makes me wonder just what power Lucif has or what power he will gain if he completes the Merger. I mean the only people on his side right now are Sparda, and Whis. Meanwhile on the good side there's current vegito, the GP, elder gods, Goku, Vegeta, Hit, Jiren, trunks, and more z fighters to be revived. The odds are easily in Vegito's favor but obviously we know that wouldn't make for a good story. I haven't heard a mention of any arch demons which would rival the elder gods I'm assuming. Maybe I'm jumping too far ahead with predictions ARJ will answer all questions in the upcoming episodes. It's just interesting to wonder just what does Lucif have planned.

Either that, or Lucif made a deal with the clones that got hit by the smite from Z and appointed him to the position of Devil upon his departure from the Demon Realm. Which allowed him circumvent the existing ranks. (The clones, who likely fused to become one being, would not know about the betrayal that Lucif would go on to commit. Lucif is good at manipulating and telling half-truths. He likely planned all of this and thought it would be hilarious to make Vegito fight himself.)

Likely realizing how outclassed they were there. Upon arrival, they fused together to form a single being. A being that was at least powerful enough to start absorbing demons, demon kings and eventually, demon emperors. But by absorbing all of that demonic energy, it heavily influenced his mind and judgement. And since seconds in the mortal realm equates to YEARS in the Demon Realm. He's been there for a REALLY long time, giving him the opportunity to not only fight his way to the position of Devil, but time to gain an incredible amount of power likely on par with the current Vegito or at least close.

They fused together and became one and went on an absorption spree. Quickly gathering power while being further influenced by the demonic energy of the Demon Realm. I'm telling you! I bet he got the jump on a couple emperors with his Buu abilities and that gave him the foothold he needed to fight his way to the position of Devil. I bet... he's fighting Vegito for the fun of it and either wants to join him in fusion to complete his original goals. Or wants to absorb him so he can be 'captain of the ship' and go on to fight Lucif. He may not know that all of the Gods and Angels at this point, are gone. Or.... the demonic energy really has corrupted his mind after all of those countless years of being in the Demon Realm and he's lost his way, forgetting his original plan altogether. Maybe he sees the current Vegito as incompetent and blames him for getting sent to the Demon Realm and added him to his revenge list?
