Overhaul, First Taste — Coming Tomorrow!
Added 2025-04-09 19:31:16 +0000 UTCAfter rewriting approximately 20.000 lines of code just to make our overhaul plans a reality, we are almost ready to present the first major step towards moving the game to a new and a much improved foundation. It took a lot out of us, but it was the only way we could possible update the existing locations, outdated routes and quests, player interface, and basically any part of the original game, which was pending for an upgrade. While it might not seem necessary to the most, we have been running into more and more walls, caused by how unprecedented in size this project had become in recent years. As we once said, Academy34 was made on a whim and we weren't very good at pre-planning, which came to bite us in the ass on many different occasions. But not anymore!
Tomorrow you will finally be able to take a glimpse at the future of our game, and we can't be any more excited to hear your feedback!
What you should expect:
Whole new storyline, featuring Clyde and MC on their drunken misadventures.
Intro into reworked Seraphina's storyline.
Updated visuals for Seraphina, featuring her new and improved design.
Completely new (secret) character!
Updated medical bay area and added a new location to visit.
Plenty of new bonus interactions as a cherry on top.
