Dev Update #42

Hi, all. This week has gone pretty well for me and I managed to do a lot of fun planning and some outfit design for E4. I now have a fairly solid plan for E4. I don't want to spoil anything remotely important but if you'd like some very basic info about it - E4 will take place over roughly two Elmwood weeks and will include Halloween. You'll also meet quite a lot of new characters.

But I've been getting a bit distracted with all the fun tasks above that I've been choosing to do and I've not spent enough time this past week on my Jan goals so I'm going to really prioritise those this coming week.

We still have quite a few questions from the survey including the Q&A. I'll continue making posts about most of those questions but I am conscious that I've been posting a lot about it and that's one of the main reasons I wanted to give you a break from that and show you an early sneak peak at Violet yesterday.

Another quick thing - I've been making plans this week for a menu in game where you can view your HaremWars deck. I've wanted this for a while and a few of you have suggested it - this should be in the game by E4. I'm also probably going to introduce a shop feature in this screen where you can purchase cards with a new currency. This would be something along the lines of winning 3 Battle Points when you beat an opponent and 1 more point if you beat them a second time (no more after that unless you play that opponent again in a different ep). And then you could use these Battle Points to purchase any card of your choice if you have enough points. I like this idea because not only does it give you more rewards for playing but it also acts as a solution to missing out on the opportunity to win certain cards - e.g. if you didn't go on a date with Paris in E3 you don't get the chance to win Bankrupt Pizza Lover etc. This is a work in progress but I am keen on this.
