E3 Survey Review Part 3
Added 2025-01-09 19:16:52 +0000 UTCGoing to combine the next 5 questions for comparison. These 5 questions concern the quality of images, writing, music, animations & how fun it is. The first three have graphs above and the mean score for each is listed below:
Images: 8.45/10
Writing: 8.31/10
Music: 7.35/10
Animations: 8.29/10
Fun Factor: 8.49/10
These are some awesome scores. Obviously bear in mind that you're all a bit biased in a positive way - the people answering this survey enjoy Elmwood enough to do a survey on it so we should take the high scores with a pinch of salt. I think there's good room for improvement in every area but nevertheless I am really glad to see these :)
The one that sticks out here is the music and this is exactly what I was expecting (and hoping) to be the weak link because it's the area I spend the least time on and the area that I know to be somewhat weak. I have some great tracks in the game but they're still a bit all over the place and the soundtrack needs more attention in future.
I really wasn't sure what score the animations would get if I'm being honest. I think some of my animations are great but a lot of them can be a bit weird. This range in quality is something I'm looking to work on as lewd scenes are a very important part of Elmwood and I obviously want them all to be as hot as possible. Hopefully quality can only improve with my increasing experience.

2025-01-27 17:15:07 +0000 UTCI remember voting with an 8 for the graphics and a 5 for the music, the other three things I don't remember well, but between 7 and 9 for sure 👍. Your graphics are unique in the sense that they have something not seen in other AVNs, like having your signature, and they are very good. The weak point is the lighting of the interiors, but the graphics are still very good. I've only played 4 AVNs that I'd give a 10 for graphics, but these people don't work alone or are swimming in multiple GPUs so they achieve absolute hyper-realism (maybe they use Blender). The music is a 5 for me because I don't remember it at all, I mean I remember some scenes but never the music, at least it didn't captivate me. And it has happened to me before that I remember the music while it is playing in some important scenes or that it gives me emotions, but it has not happened to me here yet.

By that I mean the real score range starts at 5 (terrible) and goes up to 10 (perfect). 7.5 would be average, so the music being below average here makes sense. And as you said, the people taking time to fill out the survey care about it more and probably already support and like it. Rating music a 10 is the most obvious sign of this.

2025-01-12 06:50:01 +0000 UTCI completely agree with Voridor, it nice fluid motion. Particularly when the MC sucks on her nipple and the whole breast raises up, the movement in that part really stuck out to me as very realistic looking movement.

I wrote that based on my memory of the scene, but after reading your reply, I played back that part, paid closer attention, and saw exactly what you mean. More of that style can work, too, and an actual animation in the future would be cool. Keep up the good work!

So the thing that made that a bit easier is the fact that it wasn't a 30fps animation, it was actually just a couple of frames that were being cycled through. So I was kinda cheating because that wasn't a "real" animation it was a bit easier to execute. But I'm glad you liked that I may try and do an actual animation of something similar in the future, we'll see

2025-01-09 23:42:33 +0000 UTCE3 has some great animation work, and I would like to highlight the animations you did with the Paris scene after the date in the bedroom. The highlight for me, and a standout when compared to all AVNs, is the weight and natural movement you gave to Paris' breasts. It stood out and is excellent work; I know it's more labor-intensive, so I commend you on a well-done job! Particularly when comparing how most (I want to say all, but I might be missing a few) AVN developers deal with breasts; they make them the same rigid Barbie doll-like plastic whether they are standing up, bending over, lying down, lying on them, being played with, etc. They remain primarily rigid and lifeless - not with the animation work you did here; you made them more real. I wanted to call out your outstanding work, and I hope you continue to make natural, realistic moving bodies (and body parts) part of your standard practice. Thank you, Wicked!
