After a bit of investigation, I'll post here that Scrappy's walkthrough mod (is that okay to mention here) isn't compatible with the fix. I even ran into errors loading a save modified by the walkthrough mod on a clean install of the newest version. So, if you were using that and until it's updated, try a new save for this newest version.
