Dev Update #29
Added 2024-10-20 20:49:22 +0000 UTCHi all, development is going well and I'm making good progress. Very much all in on rendering the images right now and they're looking pretty good. But aside from rendering, earlier this week I did actually make some very big edits to one of the environments you haven't seen yet - the gym. I really hate seeing a place in Elmwood look exactly the same as a place in another game (particularly true for the lecture halls) because uniqueness is very important to me. So I'm very happy with how the Elmwood gym is now looking. You'll have a chance to see it in E3 and it's bright, very orange and very Elmwood with lots of university branding and signs around the place. I want every scene to feel very Elmwoody so I'm going to try to do that in whatever ways I can.
Unrelated but while we're in the spooky month let me say a quick word about halloween/holiday events:
Because my strategy for Elmwood is to produce the best final product (rather than the best ongoing product) things like a halloween episode will happen on the 31st Oct in Elmwood game time, rather than real life time in the coming weeks. This is probably what most of you are expecting anyway but I just wanted to clarify this. Halloween will happen in Elmwood probably in E4 (otherwise E5, still planning this) rather than E3 - the episode being released closest to irl halloween time. Halloween is the sexiest holiday so I'm really looking forward to celebrating it in Elmwood but this will come very out of sync of our irl halloween. Also on the horizon is Christmas. Christmas in Elmwood time is right between the first two university terms - between seasons 1-2 (ep7-8) so I don't have big plans for xmas in an Elmwood episode like I do for halloween. I would love to make a mini xmas episode that's non canon and something just like 1 cute scene into a sex scene but we'll see. I'm very conscious of little side things like this slowing me down though so I can't promise anything. Producing the 21 canon episodes to the highest quality in the shortest time will always be my number one priority.

There seems to be plenty of options for various kinks planned and the player has the choice on them. Most of the girls look good with decent graphics and animation. Keep this up and you will certainly have a great VN.

Elmwood is in a village in the UK, isn't it? Do they celebrate Halloween there too, with costumes, blood and skeletons?
