Added 2025-01-24 22:02:02 +0000 UTChey y'all!!!! here's another (delayed) weekly photo diaries installment~ it's not a super in depth one, as the last week was pretty chill around here!! I've also been so deep in trying to finish my sponsored content for this month that I didn't really have a lot of brain space for ~activities~ :') but!! I'm all done for January, so I'm looking forward to spending the last week of the month just drawing a whole freaking bunch

I eyeballed it! I used 4 carrots, a whole onion, one leek, basically a whole little bag of tiny medley potatoes, two chicken breasts, one celery root, one rutabaga. I sauteed the onion and leek with some garlic, and then added 4 cups of water along with chicken, the celery root, and veggie bouillon (I use the Better than Buillon paste), and let that simmer for 30 minutes. then I put the chicken in, let it cook for 20 minutes, took it out, shredded it, threw it back in, and then added the rutabaga, carrots, and potatoes, and let that all simmer until the potatoes and carrots were juuuuust tender, cause I like em a lil firmer in soups :o) I maybe added 6 cups of water total? to the whole thing? and added more spices/buillon as I tasted it, but having it sit on the stove for almost an hour really lets the flavors of the veggies shine!!
