Not particularly related to this chapter in particular but for some reason Esdeath's general behavior and mentality made me think of Mr. Lovenstein comic of 'The Miracle of Flight'. Although I think she would be at least a bit more pragmatic than that bird in the comic was. A bit.

2025-01-08 21:02:22 +0000 UTCQuestion is, how will the team dynamics of the Jaegs function now given that two of their members Seryu and Run want to kill their new members or member in Run's case, although it probably won't take long or much until they are at each others throats anyway given how unsavoury the members of the WH are. I think it even has the potential to cause Run to defect as a means of being able to kill Champ given that doing so now would have a significant chance of death and significantly less chance of killing that demented clown given the state Esdeath is in. And boy what a state, Emiya needs to be careful should he run into her again given she seems pretty torn about wanting to pin him down or kill him.

2024-12-02 16:17:05 +0000 UTCLoving the tension that's present between the Jaegers and the (now former) Wild Hunt right off the bat at a time when all of Esdeath's team is still alive. Seryu quickly identifies almost all of them as having once been on wanted posters, and Run is obviously plotting Champ's painful demise, while Dorothea didn't exactly endear herself to anyone with her "prank". I'm also pretty sure there would have been harsh friction between Wave and Enshin due to their respective history of navyman and pirate had the latter not gotten himself swiftly eliminated from mouthing off to Esdeath. Dr. Stylish will probably get along just fine with Dorothea, but he's a bit preoccupied with whatever Esdeath is punishing him with for defying her orders and trying to go after Emiya.
